- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin

- ½ tsp black pepper
- 8 small flour tortillas, cut into strips
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer half of the tortilla strips over the sauce.
- Top with half of the shredded chicken, half of the sauce, and a generous sprinkle of cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining tortillas, chicken, sauce, and cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly with melted golden cheese.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish if desired and serve warm.
