- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season both sides with paprika, thyme, parsley, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet and let melt.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the buttery sauce over the top.
- Cook 2–3 minutes more until coated and heated through.
- Garnish if desired and serve warm.
