  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced sausage and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and heated through.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour sauce into the skillet along with chicken broth and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sticky sauce.
