- 1 lb beef or chicken sausage, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and heated through.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce into the skillet along with chicken broth and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sticky sauce.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
- Garnish if desired and serve warm.

- For gluten-free needs, use gluten-free pasta.
- Omit red pepper flakes for a milder version.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions for a fresh finish.
