- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 small flour tortillas
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup diced pickles
- ¼ cup diced tomatoes
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and chopped pickles. Set aside.
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Press each portion evenly onto one side of a tortilla, spreading thin.
- Season beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place tortilla beef-side down and press firmly to create a smash effect.
- Cook 3–4 minutes until beef is browned and crispy. Flip tortilla and cook 1–2 minutes.
- Top beef with a slice of cheddar and cook until melted.
- Remove from skillet and add lettuce, diced pickles, tomatoes, and drizzle with sauce.
- Fold and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispness, press down firmly while cooking.
- Warm the tortillas before assembling for softer tacos.
- Make the sauce a few minutes ahead to save time.
