Sausage and Sweet Potatoes with Honey Garlic Sauce is a quick 30-minute savory dinner featuring roasted sweet potatoes and sausage in a glossy honey garlic glaze.

- 1 lb turkey or chicken sausage, sliced into coins
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (use gluten-free if needed)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional for a little heat)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Roast for 20–25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden and tender.
- While the potatoes roast, heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté sausage slices until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter, then add honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Stir for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened. Add chili flakes if using.
- Toss roasted sweet potatoes and sausage in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions.
Notes
- Gluten-free if you use gluten-free soy sauce.
- Can substitute pork sausage if desired.
- For extra heat, add more chili flakes to the sauce.
- Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet.
