Description

Pumpkin-Shaped Sliders are adorable, festive, and delicious bite-sized treats that are perfect for fall parties, Halloween gatherings, and Thanksgiving appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef, turkey, or chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 12 slider buns (or small dinner rolls)
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • Mini pretzel sticks (for pumpkin stems)
  • Fresh parsley or basil leaves (for garnish leaves)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground meat with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 mini patties.
  3. Cook patties in a skillet or grill over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. Slice slider buns in half. Place patties on the bottoms, top with cheese, and cover with bun tops.
  5. Lightly press bun tops with a knife or kitchen string to create pumpkin ridges. Bake for 5 minutes to warm through and melt cheese.
  6. Insert a small pretzel stick into the top of each bun as a pumpkin stem. Add a parsley or basil leaf for garnish.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your festive sliders!
