- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups light corn syrup
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups coarsely chopped pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make the crust: In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and melted butter. Mix until dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake crust for 20 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- Make the filling: In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Add eggs, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in pecans and pour filling over the baked crust.
- Bake 50–55 minutes, until filling is set and slightly firm in the center.
- Let cool completely before slicing into bars.

- Line the pan with parchment for easy removal.
- Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–4 days, or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free all-purpose flour.
