Description
One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta is a quick, silky one-pan pasta dish that’s ready in about 20 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or linguine)
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté the garlic: In a large deep skillet or pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add liquids: Pour in milk and vegetable broth. Stir well.
- Add pasta: Add the pasta directly into the pot. Gently separate the strands.
- Simmer: Bring to a gentle boil, then lower heat. Cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and the sauce thickens.
- Make it creamy: Stir in Parmesan, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and salt to taste. Mix until silky.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy immediately!
Notes
- You can use any pasta shape; cooking times may vary slightly depending on the shape.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and to help the sauce coat the pasta evenly.
- If the sauce thickens too much, splash in a little milk to reach your preferred consistency.
- For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free butter and a plant-based Parmesan substitute.
