Description

One Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl is a weeknight luxury made easy—juicy shrimp seared in garlic butter, finished with a creamy garlic sauce, and served over fluffy rice for a comforting, flavor-packed dinner with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and sizzling.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
  8. Serve shrimp and sauce over warm rice.
  9. Garnish if desired and serve immediately.
