- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and sizzling.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
- Serve shrimp and sauce over warm rice.
- Garnish if desired and serve immediately.
