Description
One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a quick, weeknight-friendly skillet dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts seared to perfection and tossed with garlicky, buttery noodles—all in one pan.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and water, then add the noodles. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 8–10 minutes until the noodles are tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and toss until the noodles are creamy and coated.
- Return chicken to the pan and spoon some of the buttery noodles over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to use any pasta shape you prefer; longer noodles like fettuccine also work well.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash of cream or milk at the end.
- Leftovers refrigerate well and can be reheated in the microwave or on the stove.
