Description

One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a quick, weeknight-friendly skillet dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts seared to perfection and tossed with garlicky, buttery noodles—all in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and water, then add the noodles. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 8–10 minutes until the noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and toss until the noodles are creamy and coated.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and spoon some of the buttery noodles over the top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any pasta shape you prefer; longer noodles like fettuccine also work well.
  • For extra creaminess, add a splash of cream or milk at the end.
  • Leftovers refrigerate well and can be reheated in the microwave or on the stove.
