Description
Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta: A rich, indulgent one-pot pasta that tosses juicy ground beef, crispy turkey bacon, and tender pasta in a creamy alfredo-style sauce for a deluxe weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini work best)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in heavy cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta and crumbled turkey bacon. Toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Garnish if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with turkey or plant-based crumbles.
- For a lighter version, use light cream and cheese and reduce salt.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions for color and freshness.
- Best served immediately for the creamiest sauce.
