Description
Lipton Onion Soup Potatoes: Golden, crispy potatoes roasted with Lipton onion soup mix for a bold, easy side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2½ lbs russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine cubed potatoes, onion soup mix, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 40–45 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spread potatoes in a single, even layer and avoid crowding on the pan.
- Substitute fresh or dried parsley with chives or thyme for a different aroma.
- Leftovers can be reheated in a 400°F oven for 5–10 minutes.
- Using a low-sodium onion soup mix will reduce overall sodium content.
