Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin works best)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Low-carb wraps or mozzarella cheese slices (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and peppers, and sauté until soft and golden, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add sliced beef to the same skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce if using.
  3. Mix the cooked vegetables back into the beef, then sprinkle cheese on top. Let it melt slightly and stir to combine.
  4. Lay out low-carb wraps or large cheese slices. Spoon a portion of the cheesesteak mixture onto each one and roll tightly.
  5. Optional: bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes to crisp up the edges or melt cheese further.
  6. Serve warm, with a side of sugar-free dipping sauce if desired.
