Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
- Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- While cookies are still warm, gently press candy eyes into the tops.
- Cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
