Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Garnish if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Garnish with chopped parsley for color (optional).
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream (sauce will be lighter and slightly thinner).
