- 4 slices thick white bread
- 3 tbsp softened butter
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded cheddar
- 4 slices provolone
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley until combined.
- Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Flip two slices over (butter side down). Layer mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone evenly on top.
- Place remaining slices on top, butter side facing outward.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
- Let rest 1 minute, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Optional: chopped parsley adds fresh color.
- For extra crispness, cook a bit longer until bread is deeply toasted.
- Replace cheeses with your favorite melty varieties.
