Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries or pastel sprinkles (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake cake according to package directions in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  3. Fold in whipped topping and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread crushed pineapple evenly over the cooled cake.

  6. Sprinkle coconut on top if using.
