- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 1½ cups chocolate chips
- Food coloring (yellow, pink, purple, blue)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Gradually stir in flour until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide dough into 4 portions and tint each with a different pastel color.
- Gently press small pieces of each colored dough together to create a marbled effect without overmixing.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Cool before serving.
Notes
- Yields 24 cookies.
- Tint dough with pastel colors (yellow, pink, purple, blue) for an Easter-themed look.
- For best marbling, avoid overmixing after coloring.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer.
