  • 1 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread uncooked rice evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the rice and stir gently to distribute evenly.
  4. Stir in olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Place chicken on top of the rice in a single layer.
  6. Spread tzatziki sauce evenly over the chicken and lightly over the rice.
  7. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 55–60 minutes, or until rice is tender and chicken is cooked through.
  8. Remove foil, sprinkle feta cheese over the top if using, and bake uncovered for 5–10 minutes.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish if desired and serve warm.
