- 1 lb turkey or beef sausage, crumbled
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the sausage: In a large pot, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Build the sauce: Add sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add liquids + pasta: Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and milk. Add ditalini pasta and stir.
- Simmer: Bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
- Make it creamy: Stir in Parmesan until melted and silky.
- Serve: Garnish with basil or parsley and enjoy this rich, velvety pasta!

- You can use pork sausage if preferred; turkey is lighter.
