- 48 Ritz crackers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 1 tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped pickles, dried dill, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto half of the crackers.
- Top with remaining crackers to create sandwiches.
- Brush tops lightly with melted butter.
- Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until warm and slightly golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- These bites can be assembled up to a day ahead; refrigerate unbaked sandwiches until ready to bake.
- For extra zing, add a pinch of crushed red pepper or dill weed.
- If you prefer crisper bites, bake a minute or two longer while watching carefully.
