Description

Crunchwrap Supreme: A 7-ingredient easy and delicious copycat version of the restaurant classic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • 6 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • 6 small tostada shells or crunchy tortilla chips pressed flat
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce or shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
  3. Warm large tortillas slightly so they’re easy to fold.
  4. In the center of each tortilla, spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce or shredded cheese.
  5. Add a layer of seasoned beef, then place a tostada shell or flattened chips on top.
  6. Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  7. Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the filling to create a sealed hexagon shape.
  8. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place crunchwraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Customize fillings to taste with pico de gallo, avocado, or extra cheese.
  • For extra crunch, press the tostada shells a bit to flatten before assembly.
  • If tortillas tear, warm them a bit longer or use smaller fillings near the edges.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days and reheated in a skillet.
