Description
Crunchwrap Supreme: A 7-ingredient easy and delicious copycat version of the restaurant classic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 6 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
- 6 small tostada shells or crunchy tortilla chips pressed flat
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce or shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
- Warm large tortillas slightly so they’re easy to fold.
- In the center of each tortilla, spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce or shredded cheese.
- Add a layer of seasoned beef, then place a tostada shell or flattened chips on top.
- Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the filling to create a sealed hexagon shape.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place crunchwraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Customize fillings to taste with pico de gallo, avocado, or extra cheese.
- For extra crunch, press the tostada shells a bit to flatten before assembly.
- If tortillas tear, warm them a bit longer or use smaller fillings near the edges.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days and reheated in a skillet.
