Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) package frozen potato and cheese pierogies
  • 14 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into rounds (use turkey or beef kielbasa if preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease your slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together sour cream, cream cheese, melted butter, garlic, paprika, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Layer half of the frozen pierogies in the crockpot, followed by half of the kielbasa, onions, sauce mixture, and cheese.
  4. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 4-5 hours or High for 2-3 hours, until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Stir gently before serving, garnish with parsley, and enjoy this creamy, cheesy perfection!
