- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed cornflakes for extra crunch)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Brush each chicken breast lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
- Coat the chicken evenly in the Parmesan mixture, pressing lightly so the coating sticks.
- Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F/74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with a side of salad, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
Notes
- For extra crunch, substitute breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes or use a mixture of breadcrumbs and crushed cornflakes.
- Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes after air frying to keep the juices in.
- To ensure even coating, press the parmesan mixture firmly onto the chicken.
