- 2 tbsp butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 12 oz pasta (penne, shells, or rotini)
- 2 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan or mozzarella
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the beef: In a large pot or deep skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic & butter: Add butter and minced garlic. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Build the sauce: Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add liquids + pasta: Pour in beef broth, milk, and heavy cream. Add pasta and stir to combine.
- Simmer: Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
- Make it creamy: Stir in shredded cheese until melted and silky.

Notes
- Best with penne, shells, or rotini for the sauciest result.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half or milk cheese blend for the heavy cream and use part-skim cheese.
