- 1 bag (24 oz) frozen gluten free pierogies
- 14 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the crockpot.
- Add half of the frozen pierogies to the bottom.
- Layer half of the sliced kielbasa and half of the onion over the pierogies.
- Sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining pierogies, sausage, onion, and cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika.
- Pour mixture evenly over the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or until pierogies are tender and heated through.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish if desired.
