Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  5. Return chicken to the pan and toss with the sauce until coated.
  6. Add cooked linguine and toss to combine, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley and chives before serving warm.
