- 8 oz linguine (or your favorite pasta)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
- Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Return chicken to the pan and toss with the sauce until coated.
- Add cooked linguine and toss to combine, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and chives before serving warm.

- Optional: crush red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Reserve pasta water to loosen sauce as needed.
- Best served immediately for the creamiest texture.
