Description
Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta is a bold, comforting weeknight dish with a creamy Cajun sauce clinging to tender pasta and juicy chicken.

- 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or linguine)
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute light cream or half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Any long pasta shape (penne, fettuccine, or linguine) works well.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.
- Reserve a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
