Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • ½ cup spinach or mushrooms (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Mix in cooked pasta, along with optional vegetables if using. Toss until everything is well coated.
  8. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, adjust seasoning if needed, and remove from heat.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

  • Optional vegetables: halved cherry tomatoes, spinach or mushrooms can be stirred in for extra color and nutrition.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil for a bright finish.
