- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked chicken and linguine back to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy cowboy butter sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
