  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the roux: In a large skillet or pot, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
  3. Build the sauce: Slowly whisk in chicken broth, milk, and cream until smooth and thickened.
  4. Season: Add garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, pepper, and salt to taste. Stir in Parmesan.
  5. Add chicken & veggies: Stir in shredded chicken, peas and carrots, and corn. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  6. Combine: Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until everything is well coated.
