- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough and press into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Top with second can of crescent dough and gently seal seams.
- Brush melted butter evenly over the top.
- Mix ½ cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Chill before slicing for clean, neat bars.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For extra churro flavor, dust with additional cinnamon sugar just before serving.
