Christmas Taco Cheese Ball Wreath is a festive, Tex-Mex-inspired holiday appetizer.

- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp chopped green chiles (mild or spicy)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup diced cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp finely diced red onion
- 1 small jalapeño, sliced or diced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- Tortilla chips or crackers, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, taco seasoning, cilantro, green onions, and green chiles. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
- Lay a piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface and transfer the cheese mixture onto it. Shape into a ring or wreath form (use a small bowl in the center to guide the shape if needed).
- Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove from the plastic wrap and place on a serving platter.
- Decorate the top of the wreath with diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, and a sprinkle of cilantro.
- Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks for dipping.
Notes
- Can be made up to 1 day ahead; keep refrigerated wrapped.
- Let cream cheese and cheeses come to room temperature for easier mixing.
- To shape, use a small bowl in the center to guide the ring.
- Garnish with extra cilantro for color and aroma.
