- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup additional caramel sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare chocolate cake batter according to package instructions and pour into prepared dish.
- Bake according to package directions until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While cake is warm, poke holes evenly across the surface.
- Mix caramel sauce with sweetened condensed milk and pour evenly over the cake.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the warm cake so they slightly melt.
- Top with chopped pecans.
- Heat heavy cream until warm and drizzle over chocolate chips for a light ganache effect.
- Finish with extra caramel drizzle before serving.
Notes
- Let the cake cool slightly before slicing for clean cuts.
- For extra gooeyness, poke a few more holes to absorb the caramel.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
