Ingredients

  • 6 small round bread rolls (or mini sourdough bowls)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded or diced chicken
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep bread bowls: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the tops off the rolls and hollow out the centers, leaving sturdy bread bowls.
  2. Make garlic butter: Mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brush generously over the inside and outside of each bowl.
  3. Toast bowls: Place bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly crisp.
  4. Cook pasta: Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot.
  5. Make Alfredo filling: Stir in Alfredo sauce, chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Mix until creamy and melted.
  6. Assemble: Spoon the hot chicken Alfredo pasta into each toasted bread bowl.
  7. Final bake: Bake 5–7 more minutes until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy immediately for maximum cheesy goodness!
