- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or breadstick dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough into strips about 6 inches long. Tie a loose knot at each end of the strip to form “bone” shapes.
- Place shaped dough on the baking sheet. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the breadsticks.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and cheesy.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce as your spooky “blood” dip.
Notes
- Make-ahead: twist the bones and refrigerate up to 2 hours before baking.
- For extra cheesy bones, add a sprinkle of extra mozzarella.
- Can be made with any breadstick dough or pizza dough.
