- 1 lb steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak tips and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Cook steak tips for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add cooked rigatoni to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Return steak tips to the skillet and gently stir to combine.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave in the red pepper flakes or increase Cajun seasoning.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- If you prefer a lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for the milk and cream combination.
