- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and sauté 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Season beef with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in cream cheese until melted and combined.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to create a smooth sauce. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Garnish if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or more Cajun seasoning.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Top with chopped parsley for color.
