- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire-style sauce
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until no longer pink, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add onion and bell pepper and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire-style sauce, and chicken broth.
- Simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened and saucy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Spoon the mixture onto toasted buns, garnish if desired, and serve warm.

- Adjust heat by adding more Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce.
