Description

Butternut Squash Apple Bake is a cozy fall dish featuring roasted squash and apples with cinnamon, honey, and a hint of butter.


Ingredients

  • 3 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (Honeycrisp or Gala work best)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or coconut oil)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss cubed squash and sliced apples with melted butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until evenly coated.
