Instructions
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with nonstick spray or a bit of oil.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
- Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over the top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Optional: for a thicker glaze, remove chicken and simmer the sauce in a small pan for a few minutes until it reduces slightly.
- Serve warm over rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.
