- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Toss chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and olive oil.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and black pepper until smooth and creamy. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with parsley and chili flakes if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
- You can adjust the heat by adding more or less Cajun seasoning or chili flakes.
- Fresh parsley adds color and brightness to the dish.
