- 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast or tenders, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Oil, for frying or baking
- For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp honey
- For Assembly:
- 12 slider buns
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry chicken in hot oil until golden and cooked through, or bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15–18 minutes, flipping once.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and honey until smooth.
- Toss cooked chicken in Bang Bang sauce until evenly coated.
- Place sauced chicken onto slider buns and top with shredded lettuce.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, fry the chicken pieces twice until deeply golden.
- To make this gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and ensure the buns are gluten-free.
- Adjust the heat by varying the amount of hot sauce in the Bang Bang sauce.
