- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
- 1½ cups beef broth
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into oval steak-sized patties and place them evenly in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the gravy evenly over the patties, making sure they are well covered.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes to thicken the gravy slightly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
